About This Job The Advertisements Information Designing team at arenaflex sits at the heart of building a data ecosystem that resolves our understanding and decision-making about what influence advertisements have on our business. As a Data Engineer, you will be part of a larger data engineering organization within the Satisfied and Studio Information Designing flat, with a strong sense of engineering community that encourages technical and self-growth. Your primary focus will be on constructing rich, connected, and easily accessible data about advertisement inventories, determining, targeting, and much more. Key Responsibilities Design, strengthen, and extend the core data models that our Advertisements capabilities use to address business questions. Completely own critical parts of arenaflex's Advertisements data model, collaborating with stakeholders to see needs, model tables using computer programming and data warehouse best practices, and develop data pipelines to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality data. Work with Analysis Engineers, Data Scientists, and Programmers to create informational indexes that will serve analysis and reporting needs intuitively. Develop best practices for management of informational indexes with sensitive data. Build strong and collaborative relationships with data scientists, analysis specialists, and AI experts. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. Past experience as a capable, enthusiastic, and inquisitive Data Specialist, with advertising environment experience. Sharp communication skills to separate and make sense of complex data issues in clear and compact language. A broad background and solid technical ability working with advertising data, understanding how to work for scale, security, and business influence. Involved experience building production data pipelines, preferably using at least one distributed processing systems like Spark or Hive/Hadoop. Deep expertise in data modeling and laying out data architecture across different systems. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experiences are preferred: Knowledge of spaces connected with advertising, data privacy, GDPR. Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and data transformation for both batch and streaming. Ability to write complex SQL and Python. Proficiency in building performant data pipelines and optimizing existing workflows for new features. Familiarity with Big Data tech - Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, Voila, and so on. Experience with acquiring and modeling data from application APIs. Group-based programming development tools and best practices.
