Job Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for performing data entry tasks, handling customer inquiries, and providing support to pharmacists and other staff members. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Utilize blithequark's data entry systems and procedures to process new patient enrollments and enter information into the appropriate system. Handle patient medication requests, investigate missing prescription information, and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve third-party rejections by inspecting, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. Communicate with patients, prescribers, and guarantors via phone, chat, and email to resolve issues and provide support. Provide assistance to pharmacists, both in the office and in different locations, and identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must have: A high school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills, including starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse, and accessing information online. Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs, using a search engine, and completing online forms. Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be at least 18 years old. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: At least one year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or call center environment. At least one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy technician with a certification/registration by the state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or a nationally recognized certification organization. Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction. Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Fluency in Spanish and English.
