Job Purpose and Overview The role of the Data Entry Clerk at blithequark is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll and administrative processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accurately entering payroll data into our payroll software, maintaining and updating databases, and ensuring all employee data is correct and up-to-date. This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Duties and Responsibilities The Data Entry Clerk will work closely with both the Human Resources and Accounting Departments to perform a variety of tasks. Key responsibilities include: Time Keeping Responsibilities: Verify that timecards are complete on a daily basis, including adding missing punches and/or correcting punches as necessary. Verify time off balances and add entries when necessary. Add holidays following blithequark's policy. Compliance Data: Add data to employee profiles as required. Other Tasks: Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the HR Manager. Accounting Department Support: Assist in entering student invoices in NetSuite for blithequark's programs. Help enter therapist invoices into NetSuite. Assist with any other data entry tasks that may be required. Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications: Alignment with blithequark Values: A deep understanding and alignment with the values that drive our mission and work culture. Proven Experience: Previous experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in data entry and administrative tasks. Typing Speed and Accuracy: Excellent typing speed and accuracy, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Confidentiality and Communication Skills: Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially, coupled with good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Data Entry Clerk, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency. Education: An Associate degree in Business, preferably with a focus on Accounting, demonstrating a foundational understanding of financial and administrative principles. Software Experience: Experience working with ADP Payroll and NetSuite, or similar software, highlighting adaptability and technical proficiency. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements This position is full-time and remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. The physical requirements of the job include the ability to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment, as well as the ability to sit for long periods of time.
