Job Overview In this entry-level data entry typist/data entry position, you will be responsible for accurately translating title-related information into various client or company templates and databases, delivering the finished product to the client, and being part of our quality control team. Your primary function will be to identify any red flags that could indicate an error in the title report, which may require further examination. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills, and are looking to start their career in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Day-to-Day Responsibilities As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, your day-to-day duties will be performed independently, with regularly scheduled team meetings to ensure you are well-supported and informed. You will be required to spend 8-hour shifts working on a dual monitor computer, utilizing your excellent computer navigation skills to manage multiple computer programs simultaneously. Your key responsibilities will include: Accurately extracting pertinent information from legal documents in a title search abstract and delivering the final product to our clients Using knowledge of titles to identify any incomplete information within documents that may require further examination Acting as a liaison between remote researchers and our internal departments to facilitate completed and partially completed title searches and information Communicating completed title searches directly with the client via email and using their online websites Utilizing Microsoft Excel to update resources and correctly identify customer processes and procedures Assisting with different types of support tasks as needed Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: Minimum of 50 words per minute typing with 0% error rate Experience with Microsoft Office, with QuickBooks experience preferred but not required An associate's degree or equivalent higher education and/or previous experience doing data entry is ideal, but not required Strong analytical skills, resourcefulness, deductive reasoning, and attention to detail Excellent written, telephone, email, and verbal communication skills Ability to listen, follow instructions, and get along with others A thirst for knowledge and a willingness to pursue continuing education Excellent computer navigation skills All new hires will go through 2-4 weeks of on-site training, regardless of previous experience, to ensure you are well-equipped to succeed in this role.
