Job Overview We are seeking an exceptional Data Scientist, Business Analytics to lead key cross-functional projects for both energy and car business utilizing data science tools and methods. Key Responsibilities Contribute to all phases of data science projects: from interpreting complex business problems into data science issues to performing data analysis and modeling, and providing solutions to the business Design and maintain complex data pipelines, supporting our team's mission in democratizing data and empowering a data-driven organization, collaborating with Data Analysts, Data Engineers, AI (ML) Specialists, and Product Managers Effectively communicate significant insights to all levels of the organization with varying levels of data science understanding and backgrounds Collaborate closely with leadership, engineering, and other stakeholders to deliver significant business insights Apply various ML, advanced analytics, and visualization techniques to different datasets across the organization Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Economics, or Engineering) 2+ years of equivalent experience in a quantitative field with a strong background in data science Results-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization Proven track record of extracting data insights and building ML models, particularly in business analytics (or related) area Expertise in SQL and Python, particularly in standard data science libraries and frameworks like pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, Tensorflow/PyTorch, PySpark, etc. Proficiency in at least one visualization tool, such as Tableau, Streamlit, etc. Ability to work with large and complex datasets, structured or unstructured Capacity to self-start and work independently in an unstructured environment as well as navigate (and bring order to) ambiguity, taking a problem from 0 to 1 Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Master's or Ph.D.) Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and tools Knowledge of agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git) Experience with data storytelling and presentation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and deep learning techniques Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
