Experienced Full-Time Remote Accounts Payable Specialist – Data Entry and Financial Administration Expert

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist at arenaflex, you will work closely with the Accounts Payable Manager and other AP professionals, Senior Accountants, Controller, and Assistant Controller. You will also communicate with managers across all arenaflex divisions to follow up on invoicing information and purchase order requests. Additionally, you will interact daily with external vendors on follow-up regarding payment and invoicing information. The Accounts Payable team also has a strong partnership with the IT team to ensure smooth implementation of all AP programs. Key Responsibilities Enter vendor invoices accurately and timely into SAP Monitor AP email inbox to download vendor invoices and respond to vendor inquiries Bi-weekly review of various SAP reports (GRIR and MRBR) to ensure invoices are being posted timely and accurately Prepare 1099 reporting and ensure that all vendors have the required tax identification and W-9 information on record Collaborate with vendors in a timely and efficient manner Invoice processing (60%) Vendor support (30%) Ongoing/ad-hoc tasks (10%) Review invoice aging Ensure accurate general ledger coding Ensure accurate matching of purchase orders to invoices Provide excellent customer service to all that we interact with Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, preferably in an Accounting discipline At least 0-2 years of relevant work experience Proven track record in managing the Accounts Payable function, preferably in a discount distribution project SAP experience preferred, but not required Able to handle a high volume of transactions Strong Excel skills and demonstrated ability to create accounting spreadsheets for tracking vendor activity Results-driven with high standards for excellence Self-motivated desire to complete projects by deadline Able to repeatedly manage routine tasks Meticulous attention to detail Seeks new efficiencies to bring to the organization Able to handle special projects as assigned and work diligently to a successful conclusion Excellent organizational and project management skills Computer literate - Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel) Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Knowledge of accounting principles and practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
