About the Role We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Innovation Planning and Analysis team within Business Tasks. As a Data Analyst, you'll work with your colleagues to create flexible assessment systems that will be used to analyze various types of work being added to the pipeline. This includes examinations related to cost modeling, sequencing, and dependency planning, prioritization, and scientific categorization buildout. Key Responsibilities * Arrange various sources of data to build multivariate models that help analyze and drive decisions for the organization at-large * Create and deploy tools and dashboards for end-users that power data-driven decisions * Build critical dynamic models and write scripts that help us automate and scale * Work with colleagues to establish and identify objectives; define measurable goals and key results and metrics for the business; then ensure we measure them! * Be a dedicated steward for our innovation pipeline – and communicate status and plans to colleagues, as needed * Achieve organizational goals, driving through challenges, handling multiple priorities, and adapting to ensure your colleagues' success Required Capabilities and Abilities * Knowledge of informatics, data analysis, and management consulting (specifically in a quantitative or data-heavy role) * Experience working with data and data management software like R, SQL, Python; building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Looker – and are skilled writing database queries and scripts * Demonstrated understanding of various types of existing and emerging technologies and their ecosystems and have a highly developed understanding of how to collaborate with different colleagues to launch new products * Experience working with engineering and functional groups to create and launch products and can translate requirements to technical and non-technical audiences * Self-starter with strong key capabilities, reliable discernment, and conveying, and outstanding direction * Focus on making our end-users happy and have compelling insights about great user experience * Innovative and clever, without any hesitation about diving into details and a motivation to be quick to tackle any challenge Favored Capabilities * Experience in Innovation, Media, Telecommunications ("TMT") – product management, consulting * Understanding of the web-based video ecosystem, marketing, or potentially media technology landscape * BS in Computer Science, Data Systems, Programming, Hardware Engineering or similar field of study, as well as identical work experience About Disney Streaming Innovation LLC Disney Streaming Innovation LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
