Focus on Data Infrastructure Teams Our data infrastructure teams are responsible for building and operating scalable, secure, and efficient data platforms that enable our business functions to make data-driven decisions. We have several teams that focus on different aspects of data infrastructure, including: Database Access Platform : This team builds and operates a flexible query gateway that facilitates data abstractions to work at sub-millisecond latencies while allowing blithequark microservices to more easily store, consume, and manage their data. Data Platform Infrastructure : This team acts as a platform for our own data platforms, providing common infrastructure and tooling that enables blithequark to rapidly innovate on delivering cutting-edge data and analytics systems to the rest of the company without building custom platforms for each new system. Data Development and Processing : This team offers a preoccupied self-service cleared path item to enable diverse client personas across blithequark to meet their low-latency data development and processing needs. Big Data Engineer : This team is responsible for providing the cloud-native platform for distributed data processing at blithequark, offering support for Spark, ETL data into the Petabytes-scale data warehouse, and access that data using Spark and Voila/TrinoDB. Big Data Solution : This team offers the platform for scheduling, orchestrating, and executing big data jobs and workflows in a self-serve way, including primary services that have all ETL and ML responsibilities running on Big Data Frameworks at blithequark. Responsibilities As a data entry specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for: Entering data into our systems with high accuracy and attention to detail Managing and maintaining large datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data needs Developing and implementing data validation and verification processes to ensure data accuracy Providing data insights and recommendations to stakeholders to inform business decisions Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data management and analysis Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems features or applications Proficiency in the design and development of RESTful web services Experience in building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems Knowledge of Java or other object-oriented programming languages Familiarity with multi-threading and concurrency A BS in Computer Science or a related field Preferred Qualifications Preferred candidates will have: Experience with cloud-native technologies and distributed data processing Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems Excellent communication and collaboration skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
