This includes working with automated data feeds and manual data entry to guarantee the delivery of precise, up-to-date, and engaging sports information. You'll also play a key role in transforming data into compelling stories, using your analytical skills to identify key trends and insights that drive our content. **Key Responsibilities** * Ensure sports information disseminated by Details and Data is accurate, timely, and engaging * Work individually and in teams to deliver accurate and timely detailed breakdowns, clock-and-score, and other metrics and data that power a wide range of arenaflex products and productions * Create and maintain a working knowledge of Details and Data's role in fueling arenaflex digital products and television productions * Conduct quality checks on your own work and that of others, maintaining a high level of scrutiny and attention to detail * Contribute to the development of new ideas, projects, and initiatives across the newsroom, working closely with newsroom leaders to coordinate full- and part-time staff * Anticipate potential issues, both short-term and long-term, and propose potential solutions, communicating rapidly and clearly with colleagues on these matters * Play an active role in working with colleagues to develop or refine production processes * Participate actively in team and office meetings * Seek and respond to feedback on personal performance * Stay up-to-date on current office policies and procedures **Required Capabilities** * Working knowledge of teams, players, and the rules of various sports * Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Ability to rapidly learn production processes that produce or maintain sports information that drives arenaflex digital and television products * Capacity to achieve a high level of content accuracy in time-sensitive production circumstances * Ability to communicate confidently, both verbally and in writing, with production managers and colleagues about production issues and opportunities, often in the midst of a busy newsroom **Preferred Capabilities** * 1+ years of experience working in sports or data, ideally in media * Knowledge of how sports information is used in media and for research purposes * Working knowledge of arenaflex products and productions * Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools * Experience leading or training a team * Ability to speak and write Spanish * Experience incorporating social media in a business or news context **Required Education** * High school diploma or equivalent **Preferred Education** * Bachelor's degree or equivalent **Work Environment and Culture** As a member of the arenaflex team, you'll be part of a dynamic and inclusive work environment that values creativity, innovation, and teamwork.
