Operating almost 9,000 retail locations across America, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, arenaflex is proud to be a community health destination serving almost 10 million customers every day. arenaflex pharmacists play a vital role in the U.S. healthcare system by providing a wide range of pharmacy and healthcare services, including those that promote equitable access to care for the nation's medically underserved populations. **Job Responsibilities** As an Experienced Full Stack Data Scientist, you will be responsible for: * Providing standardized, evaluation-ready patient cohorts from in-house data properties or certified systems, examining and interpreting results, and assisting in forming analytics strategy * Partnering with other members of the arenaflex Clinical Trial group to provide actionable insights from real-world, medical, and other data assets to support biopharmaceutical RWE and medical trial requests * Cleaning, transforming, and storing data into an integrated data lake for future analysis and broader team consumption * Performing data mining and statistical analysis to investigate RWE/RWD to uncover new insights concerning patient populations and treatment results * Supporting the development of real-world data, analytics, and platform capabilities, applying advanced analytics and tools to address medical questions from biopharmaceutical companies * Collaborating on the design and execution of results reports research * Ensuring high-quality, rigorous, and easily interpretable deliverables from RWE research and analyses * Building dashboards, analytics, and reports for internal and external consumption * Conducting due diligence on new real-world data companies and performing RWD quality checks to inform investment decisions **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree or graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in a quantitative or computational function * 4 years of experience in R, Python, or SQL * Experience in designing and executing strong and reproducible statistical analyses within the context of epidemiology and observational studies with healthcare data * Knowledge of common statistical testing methods, including generalized linear models, classification and discrimination, decision trees, unsupervised learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis * Experience processing large data from diverse data sources * Experience handling protected patient health data * Knowledge of at least one of the following: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, or other Business Intelligence (BI) tools **Preferred Qualifications** * Ph.D., Master's degree in statistics/biostatistics, computer science, mathematics, systems engineering, biomedical engineering, or related field * Expertise in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)/Health IT, disease registries, and claims databases * Expertise in clinical data standards, clinical terminologies, and managed vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode) * Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or regulatory compliance guidelines for real-world evidence research or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR) * Experience working on alternative data sources and alternative methods of medical data collection, particularly those enabled by technology systems and/or solutions * Experience with experimental design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics * Understanding of data and systems learning techniques, ability to maintain self-learning of technical and non-technical skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As an Experienced Full Stack Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will have opportunities to: * Work on cutting-edge projects that drive innovation in the healthcare and retail industries * Collaborate with a diverse team of experts in data science, analytics, and healthcare * Develop your skills in advanced analytics, machine learning, and data visualization * Participate in professional development programs and training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices * Contribute to the development of arenaflex's data science and analytics capabilities, shaping the future of healthcare and retail **Work Environment and Company Culture** arenaflex is committed to creating a work environment that is inclusive, diverse, and supportive.
