Key Responsibilities As a Full Stack Item Designer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the development and enhancement of customer-facing applications through experimental strategies like A/B testing. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing features that improve product experiences, owning the tasks of experience development, and collaborating with a cross-functional team of talented partners. This team includes colleagues from product management, design, data science, consumer experiences, and engineering. Construct features and improve product experiences through A/B testing and experimentation. Own the tasks of experience development and work closely with engineers on different backend systems. Collaborate with a cross-functional team of partners from various departments, including product management, design, data science, and engineering. Enable product experiences by working intimately with Android, iOS, Site, and TV UI engineers on the backend. Develop product experiences using email as the medium, utilizing existing in-house email structures on the frontend. Backend and Frontend Development On the backend, you will work closely with engineers to enable product experiences. This involves collaborating with Android, iOS, Site, and TV UI engineers to ensure seamless integration. On the frontend, you will focus on developing product experiences using email, leveraging existing in-house email structures. Your expertise in frontend web development, including CSS, JavaScript, and current JS frameworks, will be essential in this role. Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Experience in creating customer-facing applications through experimental strategies like A/B testing. Proficiency in Java or other object-oriented languages. Related experience in JavaScript or possibly Typescript. Frontend web development experience, including CSS, JavaScript, and current JS frameworks. Experience writing SQL queries on large data platforms, such as SparkSQL, Voila, Hive, etc. Ability to design natural and extensible APIs. Experience creating reusable, templated systems. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience building backend systems to power frontend experiences. Experience working with product development teams. Experience building streams using different channels like Push, SMS, messaging apps, and In-Product messaging experiences. Experience with restriction systems and ICU formatting. Experience in creating Responsive and Intuitive HTML or possibly AMP Email Development experience. Experience in building large-scale, highly scalable gRPC services.
