As a key member of our Quality Control Standards and Guidelines Team, you will play a crucial role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by analyzing data trends and performance metrics to improve our Quality Control division. About the Role We are looking for a talented Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to support our Quality Control Standards and Guidelines Team. As a data-driven professional, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to inform business decisions and drive process improvements. Your primary objective will be to utilize data to develop, present, and recommend innovative ideas and projects that align with our organizational goals, including maintaining low costs, modernizing our operations, and enhancing compliance. Key Responsibilities: Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements. Help create and communicate results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and leaders. Assist in addressing critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide analytical answers to enable senior leadership to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibilities. Present insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to facilitate stakeholder understanding. Help develop and distribute specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and validating the need for data requirements. Identify anomalies in processes through audits/reviews and communicate findings to the team. Assess the effectiveness of processes and procedures by monitoring for trends and errors. Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision. May perform other job duties as directed by the Team Lead. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Operations, or a quantitative discipline). Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Alteryx, or QuickBase. Familiarity with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques. Previous internship or work experience in a related field, preferably in the aviation industry. Experience with PowerPoint and presentation development. Knowledge of aviation industry regulations and standards.
