As a Continuous Designs Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the creation, advancement, and delivery of innovative designs, animations, and continuous designs registries for live productions. As a Graphics Developer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for working on index maintenance and new realistic forms, collaborating with a team or independently, with minimal supervision. Your expertise will be essential in communicating with managers, colleagues, and partners to set expectations and ensure on-time delivery. You will adhere to office and project workflows and cycles, providing error-free designs and technical support. Key Responsibilities Primarily utilize Vizrt, Ross Xpression, or Unreal Engine during the process of designs creation, advancement, and arrangement of graphics for arenaflex productions Design, build, maintain, and update graphic registries with little oversight or while collaborating with a team of engineers Interpret project details and creative direction into specialized craft, motion, and layout solutions Provide troubleshooting and support to event as well as studio registries Utilize various graphics software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, and Cinema4D, to assist in the creation of designs and animations Learn and grasp internal proprietary software and workflows Explore niche business segments like touchscreen, interactive, virtual studio, data visualization, augmented reality, and more Work closely with management and partners on expectations to manage assumptions and ensure effective and on-time delivery Analyze and respond to technical questions regarding design/activity methods and workflows Adhere to universal workflows, scripts, and cycles Engage with hardware and/or software upgrades and new studio builds Assist colleagues and help with on-boarding and training Collaborate within the arenaflex Creative Studio to contribute to long-term initiatives Push creativity and programming skills to higher levels, explore new technology, and deliver on all stages of a project to maintain the quality of arenaflex's live product Participate in special projects like in-house/off-site training and technical support for packagers, remote consultants, and vendors Notice graphic arrangement deviations and uphold arenaflex graphic look Design image files for programs Contribute creative ideas, pushing designs to a higher level, and learn new software to improve individual flexibility in the office Adhere to proper document management procedures to ensure efficient filing and subsequent retrieval of projects Recognize, report, and assist with investigating equipment/software/office issues Adhere to all organizational responsibilities, including time entry and daily reporting requirements Maintain high standards of productivity, consistency, accuracy, creativity, and timely delivery, in all aspects Track and report on the value of contributions Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Transitional knowledge of a continuous designs stage like Vizrt, Ross Xpression, or Unreal Engine Practical knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe After Effects Excellent understanding and regular use of effective type design Apparent 2D motion skills Experience working with graphics for live production or broadcast setting Interest in or experience with broadcast and TV production technologies Ability to write and debug Viz Scripting (visual basic), C#, Javascript, C++ as well as other programming languages Inclination and head to learn and apply new concepts, procedures, and software Possessing communication skills, assisting team leaders and management with setting expectations for on-time delivery and taking direction well Drive to contribute new and innovative ideas Ability to help with new hardware, software, and studio builds Highly energetic, works well under pressure, really focuses on tasks and heads in a different direction without any problem Sharp attention to detail, spelling, and language Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and occasionally travel and work in a live-television setting Candidates should provide a link to their online portfolio/demo reel Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with live broadcast sports design experience including event or studio workflows Some knowledge and understanding of Vizrt and Triplet software Experience with or understanding of graphics playout in a live setting Experience with 3D graphics, modeling, and animation concepts with experience in Cinema4D, Maya, Unreal Engine, or other 3D animation programs Strong ability to write and debug Viz Scripting (visual basic), C#, Javascript, C++ and/or other programming languages Strong interest and knowledge of sports culture Should have solid transportation to work Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
