Job Overview We are seeking a highly qualified Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor in Radiological Sciences to serve as the Clinical Coordinator for our Associate Degree Program. This is a multi-year appointment, with a duration of 2 years and the option for renewal. The successful candidate will be expected to commence on December 2023 or as negotiated. Key Responsibilities Teach a range of courses, including Patient Care, Medical Terminology, Radiation Biology and Protection, Radiographic Pathology, and Registry Review Oversee all clinical activities of students, including travel to clinical sites for conferences and evaluations Serve as the program liaison to clinical sites, ensuring effective partnerships and placements Participate in program meetings, contribute to assessment and accreditation processes, and collaborate with faculty to drive program effectiveness Advise students, participate in committees, and engage in service and scholarly activities Maintain currency in the discipline through research, scholarship, and/or quality improvement initiatives Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must: Hold a master's degree or doctorate in a relevant field Possess a current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration in radiography Have at least two years of clinical experience in radiological sciences Demonstrate proficiency in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, and evaluation Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with instructional technology and hybrid/online teaching A commitment to active and collaborative learning Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment A record of scholarly activity and research in radiological sciences What We Offer Penn State Schuylkill is committed to supporting the well-being and career growth of our faculty.
