Job Overview Location: Administration or As Assigned (Remote opportunities available) Reports to: Director, Diversity (Humanware) FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Salary Band: 12 ($45,900.00 - $64,260.00) Start Date: Immediate openings available Key Responsibilities Serve as a liaison/advocate between principals, staff, and students, supporting the school's Student Support Team (SST). Provide mentorship, motivation, advocacy, and life coaching to students, linking them to necessary resources, agencies, tutoring services, and community supports. Prepare written reports to the Diversity Director, ensuring the grant's scope of work is executed effectively. Motivate eligible students to participate and engage in school activities, providing truancy and behavioral intervention supports. Monitor students' attendance, behavior, and academics, intervening when necessary to keep students on track for promotion and graduation. Collect and analyze data to monitor progress, maintaining open lines of communication with parents of targeted students. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in diversity, urban studies, education, or a related field. 5-7 years of related experience working in multi-ethnic/culturally diverse environments. A proven ability to build successful and effective relationships with individuals at all levels. Demonstrated leadership ability to work collaboratively with students, administration, parents, and the community. Excellent organization, written and oral communication, and customer service skills. Self-motivated and able to multi-task with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (Spanish). Prior successful experience working in an urban educational environment with at-risk students. Familiarity with group (team) processes, including a commitment to group guidance and group counseling. Positive attitude, genuine desire, and passion to serve the community and its most at-risk students. High moral character and ethical standards. Valid Ohio driver's license. Computer literate and able to learn the district's student databases (SchoolNet, eSchool Plus).
