With a strong track record of successful deal closings and a commitment to excellence, we offer a unique opportunity for experienced M&A advisors to leverage our renowned brand, technology, streamlined systems, proprietary buyer database, dealflow, and proven processes. **About the Role** As an M&A Advisor at Raincatcher, you will have the opportunity to work directly with senior leaders at our firm, participate in all aspects of our business, and work closely with management teams at our portfolio companies. This is a 1099 contractor role, and no base salary is provided. Instead, you will be rewarded with competitive deal commission splits to recognize your expertise and success. **Key Responsibilities** As an M&A Advisor, your key responsibilities will include: * Preparing, analyzing, and explaining historical and projected financial information * Conducting industry and company due diligence * Preparing and reviewing pitch/business origination materials and other presentations * Preparing and reviewing information memoranda and other transaction documents * Driving transaction execution, from the pitch phase through marketing and closing of a transaction * Performing valuation and ad hoc financial analysis * Assisting in the marketing and execution of existing engagements * Building relationships and maintaining direct contact with clients, prospective clients, and professional advisors * Communicating effectively with all members of the team * Assisting in business development **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess: * Excellent attention to detail * Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ready to assume a high level of responsibility * Advanced knowledge of accounting and finance * Extensive financial modeling and valuation experience * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong financial and computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) * Undergraduate degree, MBA preferred * Prior Investment Banking analyst experience and/or hands-on M&A experience preferred * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple project deliverables simultaneously * Legally authorized to work in the United States * Currently holds a FINRA Series 63 plus a Series 79 or 82 license or willingness to obtain necessary licenses **Preferred Qualifications** While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable: * Experience working with financial modeling tools and software * Familiarity with CRM systems and deal management software * Strong network of contacts in the M&A industry * Experience working with clients in the $1-50M revenue range * Strong understanding of the M&A process and deal-making strategies **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At Raincatcher, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members.
