Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Manager, Business Intelligence and Client Reporting to join our team. As a key member of our enterprise reporting team, you will be responsible for managing internal processes and resources, executing on our internal roadmap, and supervising shared resources. Key Responsibilities As a Manager, Business Intelligence and Client Reporting , your primary responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining a basic understanding of various Bright Horizons reporting systems Working independently with IT, stakeholders, and Product Analysts to investigate viability of department's ability to meet reporting needs Overseeing Salesforce ticketing process to ensure timely response to requests and updating the ticketing system to reflect current needs Managing shared team resources, including Qlik and automation developers, to ensure efficient and properly prioritized allocation and assignments Owning the enterprise reporting team's documentation wiki by ensuring team members populate and/or modify documentation according to established protocols and requirements Assisting senior director with roadmap management and review Assisting senior director with establishing and maintaining standardized report bundles, tracking costs associated with customizations, and cross-charging as needed Monitoring and improving BI operations, automating processes where possible, and identifying and correcting issues proactively Working with senior director to improve the quality and speed of decision-making and inform new product development process by designing and implementing reports, dashboards, and presentations, and analyzing customer and market data Scheduling and coordinating with other teams Coordinating onboarding for new hires, including system access requests and adding to distribution lists Driving knowledge sharing within and across verticals Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field 5+ years of hands-on experience with reporting and analytics solutions Hands-on experience in creating dashboards, reports, and analytics that support data-driven decision making and support Experience with Microsoft SQL, SSRS, and stored procedures Demonstrated ability to lead complex BI implementation projects Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience with Qlik and automation development Knowledge of Salesforce and ticketing processes Experience with data visualization tools and techniques Strong understanding of business intelligence and client reporting principles Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strategic thinking : ability to think critically and strategically about business intelligence and client reporting Leadership skills : ability to lead and manage a team of professionals Communication skills : ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including IT, Product Analysts, and senior directors Problem-solving skills : ability to identify and correct issues proactively Collaboration skills : ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Technical skills : proficiency in Microsoft SQL, SSRS, and stored procedures, as well as experience with Qlik and automation development Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Bright Horizons Family Solutions, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
