Key Responsibilities Contribute directly to sales and margin objectives in assigned categories by analyzing data and developing targeted marketing strategies. Analyze relevant data and integrate findings and recommendations into Category Plans, including optimal SKU mix, loyalty programs, and promotional projects. Drive strategic execution of everyday arrangement exercises, including off-rack plans, tracking promotional periods, and performing present analysis to make corrective moves as needed. Collaborate with internal teams, including Stock, Estimating, Advancement, Money, Store Brands, Store Configuration, Advertising, and Store Tasks, to achieve business objectives. Analyze sales records and stock levels of current inventory to identify opportunities for growth and optimization. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of competitive landscape, identifying new opportunities and making recommendations to drive business growth. Stay up-to-date with changes in the market, researching client item inclinations, provider costs, and the competitive climate to inform marketing strategies. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: Working knowledge of retail math concepts and demonstrated application. Technical expertise in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and some experience with Access or other database software. Willingness to travel 5-10% for business purposes.
