The Role: M&E Team Leader As an M&E Team Leader at Amex GBT, you'll be at the forefront of managing and developing a high-performing team dedicated to sourcing, planning, attendee management, registration, and finance. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days in our NYC office and 2 days working remotely, offering the flexibility to balance your work and personal life. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure they deliver their best work. Foster a positive and open work environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer satisfaction, and drive business growth. Collaborate with the Operations Manager to analyze financial and operational metrics, forecast future trends, and implement measures to ensure operational profitability. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction. Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, helping them to develop their skills and achieve their career goals. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our event management processes and services. What We're Looking For: To succeed as an M&E Team Leader at Amex GBT, you'll need a unique blend of leadership, event management, and operational expertise. Here are the essential qualifications and skills we're looking for: 3-5 years of leadership experience in event management, with a proven track record of success. Strong skills in team leadership, coaching, and development. Experience with event planning, sourcing, and execution. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate your vision and inspire your team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications. A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience. A passion for travel and event management, with a willingness to travel up to 25%. Preferred qualifications include: Experience in the meetings and events industry. Knowledge of business financials, contracts, and service levels. Expertise in developing strategic partnerships with suppliers and clients. A love for technology and innovative solutions. Compensation and Benefits We're offering a competitive salary package, with a national annual base salary range of $50,000 to $100,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
