Key Responsibilities Collaborate with our Director of Nursing and nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans for our residents, ensuring optimal care and outcomes. Apply the nursing process through assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating plans of care for assigned residents. Perform resident care in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Protect and enforce the rights and responsibilities of our residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being are respected. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: Current State of Hawaii Registered Nurse License. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Level C certification, with re-training every two years. First Aid & CPR Certification. Physical exam within the last year. 2 Step TB, followed by 1 Step TB within the last year. 2 professional references. Excellent written, verbal, non-verbal, and active listening communication skills. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience in hospice, long-term, or acute care settings. Experience with PointClickCare or similar care management systems. Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed and attend mandatory training sessions.
