Job Overview and Responsibilities In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for processing incoming orders, resolving customer inquiries, and providing consultative support to drive customer satisfaction and retention. Your key responsibilities will include: Ensuring that sales are captured by responding to customers and entering orders accurately and efficiently in SAP Resolving customer inquiries through the use of multiple customer support tools, including conducting research in SAP and contacting business units as necessary Maintaining world-class standards by performing against department scorecards and metrics, and continuously seeking opportunities to exceed service requirements Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships by developing a rapport, actively listening, and providing consultative support and recommendations Identifying and evaluating opportunities to increase customer retention, maintain customer confidence, and protect operations by keeping information confidential and suggesting alternatives to out-of-stock or limited quantity items Conducting safe and responsible interactions with the public, and performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: High school diploma or equivalent required, with basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs No previous experience required, but a results-oriented professional with verbal and written communication skills, diplomacy, and discretion is preferred Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines Utilize sound judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve customer inquiries and issues Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environment and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 1-2 years of previous experience in a customer service role, and experience in the consumer products or distribution industry. Physical Requirements and Competencies While performing the duties of this job, you will be required to remain in a stationary position at times, communicate, and operate a computer and telephone. You will need to be accountable for meeting your own targets, with work reviewed periodically, and be able to define and resolve routine problems with readily available solutions.
