About Our Team arenaflex is an exclusively remote team, comprising the founder, three skilled Software Developers, a Quality Assurance Analyst, a part-time Head of Customer Experience, and two part-time Customer Support Representatives. Our Customer Support team plays a vital role in ensuring that all customers receive the assistance they need, primarily through email-based support. As a part-time Customer Support Representative, you will be responsible for investigating, reporting, and tracking potential bugs experienced by our customers, working closely with our development team to resolve issues efficiently. Job Summary The primary responsibility of a Customer Support Representative at arenaflex is to respond to user needs in a timely and professional manner. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will be expected to provide prompt, courteous support via email, social media, voicemail, and Slack messages. Regular video team meetings are also an essential part of this role, ensuring that you stay connected with the team and are aligned with our goals and objectives. Key Responsibilities: Respond to all email, social media, voicemail, and Slack messages in a timely and professional manner Investigate, test, and resolve customer issues, escalating complex problems to the development team when necessary Process refunds and compile and submit chargeback disputes as required Meet with your supervisor and team members via video conferencing on a regular basis to discuss progress, challenges, and areas for improvement Satisfactorily meet performance and response metrics, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible support Document customer issues and create bug tickets, where needed, to help our development team identify and resolve recurring problems Occasionally assist with testing our sites before and after updates to ensure that they are functioning as expected Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualities and skills: Be an extremely reliable and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic Have a natural ability to turn negative experiences into positive ones, providing exceptional customer support and ensuring that our customers are satisfied with our services Enjoy working independently and as part of a remote team, with excellent time management and organizational skills Excel in written and verbal communication, with excellent grammar and spelling skills (our customers are primarily teachers, so attention to detail is crucial) Have at least 1 year of experience in a dedicated customer support role, with a proven track record of providing excellent support and resolving customer issues efficiently Be comfortable participating in virtual and video meetings, with experience working remotely preferred Have experience in banking or handling payment transactions, with high technical and web literacy Be an strong writer, with experience and interest in writing preferred Have a reliable, high-speed internet connection, with the ability to work from anywhere in the world What We Offer At arenaflex, we offer a unique and flexible work environment, with the opportunity to work from anywhere in the world. As a part-time Customer Support Representative, you can expect to work every other week, with approximately 10 hours per week during the fall, winter, and spring months, and 6 hours per week during the summer months. You will have full flexibility to choose your working hours, as long as you meet our response metrics and ensure that our customers receive timely support.
