Job Description and Key Responsibilities As a Payments Analyst at blithequark, you will play a critical role in supporting the administration of key seller connections, including monthly and quarterly business reviews with payment card organizations. Your primary responsibilities will include: Accumulating and analyzing data for presentations to senior management, including regular payment metrics Performing daily examinations that may impact business performance and decision-making, and collaborating with various stakeholders as needed Learning, maintaining, and influencing digital reporting processes Using data modeling to demonstrate the performance of business KPIs Assisting with the identification and monitoring of payment card network compliance issues Providing project support and guidance to other colleagues Responding to ad-hoc requests and completing special projects as required Acquiring new skills as needed to support the requirements of the Payments Group and the Financial Services Division Key Liabilities and Performance Metrics Your performance will be evaluated based on your ability to: Conduct in-depth analysis and problem-solving to drive business process improvements (25% of your time) Develop and execute strategies that integrate financial products and services into core businesses and new strategic initiatives (25% of your time) Collect and analyze data for presentations to senior management, and provide project support and guidance to other colleagues (25% of your time) Evaluate the financial and operational/quality implications of new projects against predetermined objectives, and make recommendations to senior management (25% of your time) Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Financial services experience, with a strong understanding of payment processing techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments A proven track record of successfully managing multiple, concurrent projects Experience with project management, including the ability to gather requirements and analyze business issues and opportunities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred qualifications include: Experience with data analysis and modeling, including the use of tools like Python and Tableau Knowledge of payment card network compliance issues and regulations Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with ambiguity A strong desire for continuous learning and professional growth Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
