Job Summary As a Customer Service Supervisor at arenaflex, you will be the driving force behind our day-to-day operations, ensuring that our guests – both human and furry – receive the highest level of care and attention. You will bring energy, enthusiasm, and leadership to our team, assisting the General Manager in overseeing employees in all aspects of the resort. Your flexibility, strong customer service skills, and ability to work effectively under pressure will be essential in this role, as you will be required to fill in wherever needed, including some weekend and holiday hours. Key Responsibilities Assure all guests are cared for in compliance with arenaflex's goals and values, maintaining a strong resort culture that reflects our mission and vision. Ensure a healthy and safe work environment for both employees and pets, adhering to all operational procedures outlined in the arenaflex Operations Manual. Empower employees to take responsibility for their roles and goals, delegating tasks, and expecting accountability and feedback to drive continuous improvement. Be knowledgeable of all basic functions of the point-of-sale system and be capable of performing any job requirement of any staff member, except the owner/General Manager. Open the building in the morning and ensure its security at closing when necessary, as well as feed/medicate dogs and oversee all cleaning and disinfecting procedures as needed. Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in pet boarding, luxury hospitality, or high-end retail, as well as outstanding interpersonal relationship-building and employee coaching and development skills. You should be able to remain calm under highly stressful and unexpected situations, be dependable and responsible, and have effective communication skills with all types of people, including the ability to mediate and problem-solve. Essential Qualifications Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in pet boarding, luxury hospitality, or high-end retail. Outstanding interpersonal relationship-building and employee coaching and development skills. Ability to remain calm under highly stressful and unexpected situations. Dependable and responsible. Effective communication skills with all types of people; ability to mediate and problem-solve. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a pet care or hospitality environment. Knowledge of pet behavior and body language. Certifications in pet first aid or CPR. Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management.
