**Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate – Remote Data Entry Position at arenaflex**

Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional service, and we are looking for like-minded individuals to join our team. **Key Responsibilities:** As an Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues * Processing transactions, including ringing up sales, handling returns, and processing voids * Maintaining accurate records, including patient and medication data * Utilizing pharmacy systems to acquire patient and medication data and process prescriptions * Assisting pharmacists in the dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and pouring prescription medications * Reporting any medication errors to the pharmacist and adhering to organization policies and procedures * Handling calls that do not require individual attention from the pharmacist, including those to doctors * Processing manual cases for external program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner * Performing other administrative tasks, as assigned by the Pharmacy Director **Client Experience:** * Greet customers and patients in a friendly and welcoming manner * Offer assistance with products and services, including answering questions and providing recommendations * Model and promote customer service best practices, including relational skills (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) and arenaflex service qualities (e.g., offering assistance proactively, recognizing needs, upgrading until satisfied) * Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience **Tasks:** * Provide customers with gracious, friendly, quick, and efficient service * Recommend products available for purchase to customers and suggest upsell and cross-sell opportunities * Register customer purchases on assigned sales register, collect cash, and disperse change as required; process voids, returns, delays, discounts, and exchanges as necessary * Take customers to the OTC walkway when possible to assist with finding products * Maintain counters and retail areas clean and well-organized, take stock, and keep records * Check in and price stock as required or as directed by senior supervisor or assigned by the shift manager * Perform tasks assigned by the Pharmacy Director, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data, ensuring data is accurate, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring prescription medications, confirming medication is correct, and checking for potential interactions * Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work processes * Report, immediately, prescription errors to the pharmacist and adhere to organization policies and procedures corresponding to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program * Audit and follow the arenaflex Co. Pharmacy Governance guidelines * Rigorously adhere to the arenaflex Co. policy regarding Honest Intentions Dispensing during all relevant prescription dispensing activities * Handle calls that do not require individual attention from the pharmacist, including those to doctors * Process (revised and resubmit) manual cases for external program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and perform other administrative tasks, as assigned by the Pharmacy Director * Assist and support the Pharmacy Division on stock management activities, including ordering, unloading, checking, and storing shipments of medications * Maintain knowledge of organization resource security methods, and record claims for distribution center overages (stock received, but not charged), deficiencies (stock charged, but not received), order errors, or damaged products, including Rx medications * Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances (e.g., cocktails and tobacco products) * Build and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super displays, and sale stock; complete resets and corrections as directed * Assist with division of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as determined by strategies/methods (e.g., raw and frozen meats on base retail areas) * For consumable items, aid stock rotation, involving the first-in, first-out technique and restock outs * Have working knowledge of store systems and store equipment * Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital ID photo service, banner print, and creative machine, interesting sell of special photo items * Take on web pick-up responsibilities (screens orders in Picture Care, handles orders (pick items), conveys orders to customers as they arrive at store) * Assist with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a perfect, clean, deliberate store condition and appearance * Adhere to all organization policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with colleagues * Complete special tasks and other assignments as directed **Preparation and Self-Improvement:** * Obtain and maintain PTCB certification through the assigned PTCB training program and additionally state required certification/enrollment * Attend training and complete PPLs mentioned by Supervisor or assigned by corporate and secure continuing education credits * Maintain knowledge and expertise in healthcare and pharmacy, including the latest news and advancements **Essential Capabilities:** * Must be conversant in reading, writing, and communicating in English (except in Puerto Rico) * Must be willing to work an adaptable schedule, including nights and weekend hours **Preferred Capabilities:** * Favor a half-year of experience in a retail environment * Prefer to have prior work experience with arenaflex * Prefer to have good numerical skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications * Prefer to have good computer skills * Prefer to have knowledge of store stock control * Prefer to have PTCB certification **Work Environment and Company Culture:** * arenaflex is committed to providing a positive and supportive work environment, where employees can grow and develop their skills * Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional service, and we are looking for like-minded individuals to join our team * We offer a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, where you can make a real difference in the lives of our customers **Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:** * arenaflex offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance * We also offer a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and a comprehensive training program * arenaflex is an equal opportunity employer, and we are committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace **How to Apply:** If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
