Experienced Provider Customer Service Call and Chat Representative – Remote Full-Time Opportunity Supporting Healthcare Providers Across Multiple Locations

About the Position The Provider Customer Services Call and Chat Representative plays a vital role in our organization, serving as the primary point of contact for providers who have questions or concerns about benefits and eligibility, billing and payments, clinical authorizations, explanation of benefits (EOB), and behavioral health. As a representative, you will be responsible for responding to inquiries through phone calls or concurrent chat, providing timely and effective resolutions to issues, and advocating for providers in a multi-channel environment. Key Responsibilities Serve as the advocate for providers by demonstrating accountability and ownership in resolving issues, ensuring that their concerns are addressed in a professional and courteous manner. Provide exceptional customer service to providers in a multi-channel environment, including calls and concurrent chat, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner. Quickly and appropriately triage contacts from healthcare professionals, understanding their needs and providing personalized support to resolve issues. Research and dissect complex prior authorization and claim issues, collaborating with multiple internal partners to ensure effective communication and resolution, and taking proactive steps to avoid repeat calls or messages. Navigate over 30 systems to extract necessary information, utilizing strong multitasking skills to efficiently resolve issues across multiple lines of business, provider types, and call types. Influence providers to utilize self-service digital tools, promoting faster resolutions and enhancing their experience with our services, and providing guidance on navigation and the benefits of these tools. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in customer service and communication. 1+ years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of analyzing and solving customer concerns, and providing exceptional support in a fast-paced environment. Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications, with a strong focus on adaptability and technical skills. Ability to type at a speed of greater than or equal to 35-40+ WPM with an accuracy of 90%, demonstrating strong keyboarding skills and attention to detail. Must be 18 years of age or older, with a strong work ethic and commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work any full-time (40 hours/week), 8-hour shift between the hours of 10:35 AM - 7:05 PM CST from Monday - Friday, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs. Preferred Qualifications Prior healthcare experience and knowledge of healthcare terminology, demonstrating a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and its complexities. Experience in a related environment (i.e., office, call center, customer service, etc.), using phones and computers as the primary job tools, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and support.
