Job Overview The Provider Customer Service Call and Chat Representative role at arenaflex is a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about customer service and healthcare. As a representative, you will be the primary point of contact for healthcare providers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support via phone calls and concurrent chats. Your expertise and compassion will play a crucial role in ensuring that providers have a seamless experience, which in turn, positively impacts patient care. Key Responsibilities Serve as an advocate for healthcare providers, demonstrating accountability and ownership in resolving issues efficiently and effectively. Provide multi-channel support, including calls and concurrent chats, to address provider inquiries and concerns. Triage contacts from healthcare professionals, such as physician offices and billing offices, to ensure timely and appropriate resolution of issues. Seek to understand the needs of providers, answering questions, and resolving issues related to benefits and eligibility, billing and payments, clinical authorizations, explanation of benefits, and behavioral health. Research and resolve complex prior authorization and claim issues, taking proactive steps to prevent repeat calls, escalations, and provider dissatisfaction. Collaborate with internal partners to ensure issues are resolved and communicated to providers in a timely and professional manner. Demonstrate strong multitasking skills to navigate multiple systems, extracting necessary information to resolve issues across various lines of business and provider types. Influence providers to utilize self-service digital tools, assisting with navigation questions and highlighting the benefits of these tools for faster resolution and enhanced experience. Qualifications and Skills Essential Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience. 1 year of customer service experience, with a focus on analyzing and solving customer concerns. Experience with computers and Windows PC applications, including the ability to learn and navigate complex systems. Typing speed of 35-40 words per minute with 90% accuracy. Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week), Monday through Friday, between 10:35 AM and 7:05 PM CST, with flexibility to work occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a related environment, such as an office, call center, or customer service role, with proficiency in using phones and computers as primary job tools. Prior healthcare experience and knowledge of healthcare terminology. Telecommuting Requirements Reside within the state of Indiana. Ability to maintain the security of company-sensitive documents. Establish a dedicated work area that is separated from other living areas and ensures information privacy. Must have access to a high-speed internet connection approved by arenaflex.
