Job Overview We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to work remotely and contribute to the success of our organization. As a key member of our Quality Control team, you will be responsible for driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by identifying statistical trends and performance metrics to improve our quality control division. Key Responsibilities The responsibilities and obligations of the Quality Control Standards Data Analyst may include, but are not limited to: Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in optimal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements Assist in creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and leaders Assist in investigating critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging issues and provide logical responses to enable senior management to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibility Present insights, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant aspects of the analysis to facilitate stakeholder understanding Assist in developing and distributing specific queries to pull and integrate data from various sources, establishing the frequency, and validating the necessity of the data requirements Identify irregularities in processes through audits and convey findings to the team Evaluate the effectiveness of processes and methods by monitoring for trends and anomalies Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision May perform other work duties as directed by the team leader Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Strong ability to collect, organize, analyze critical amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to effectively listen to, understand, and communicate ideas and present written, verbal, or presentation materials to audiences of varying sizes Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics Proficiency in Microsoft Office Knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred Ability to grasp the issue, to summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning Able to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred Able to work effectively in a strong support/team-oriented environment Able to commit to responsibilities and be a self-motivated individual Past internship experience in a related field is preferred Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Ability to plan and support large business initiatives Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Advanced degree in a relevant field Professional certifications in data analysis or quality control Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or R Experience with data mining and machine learning techniques Strong understanding of business operations and processes Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools Ability to think critically and outside the box Strong business acumen and understanding of business operations Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
