Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team in Kennesaw, GA. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs established by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your work will involve providing one-on-one in-home therapy sessions, collecting data, and collaborating with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one in-home ABA therapy sessions to children with ASD, following treatment plans developed by a BCBA. Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions to inform treatment decisions. Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA. Collaborate with BCBAs, clients, and their families to ensure comprehensive support and address any concerns or needs. Maintain professionalism, responsiveness, and a goal-oriented approach in all aspects of your work. Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions, demonstrating flexibility to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or working towards a degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred. Experience working with children in a 1:1 setting for at least 1 year. 1-year ABA/RBT experience or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor). Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and clean driving record. Physical ability to lift up to 35lbs, perform activities requiring fine and gross motor skills, and respond quickly to the movements and behaviors of children. Preferred Qualifications Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain certification with our assistance. Experience using Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plans with youth and families. Previous experience working in ABA therapy or a related field, with a strong understanding of ABA principles and practices. Skills and Competencies Strong understanding of ABA principles and their application in therapy settings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and our team. Ability to maintain confidentiality, adhere to ethical standards, and follow company policies and procedures. Flexibility, patience, and empathy, with a commitment to providing high-quality support to our clients. Basic computer skills and familiarity with data collection tools and software.
