Job Overview The remote customer service and data entry specialist position at arenaflex is an entry-level opportunity that requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accurately entering customer and account data from source documents, performing data entry and management using Excel and other software, and providing support to our Sales and Marketing teams as needed. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter customer and account data from source documents, ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Perform data entry and management using Excel and other software, utilizing computer fundamentals and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) effectively. Transfer information from paper formats into digital files using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners, and organize, collate, and capture data into digital databases. Conduct high-volume data entry utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications, and compile and verify the accuracy of information, preparing source data for entry. Gather and enter data from various websites and sources into designated templates, and provide support to the Sales and Marketing teams as needed. Undertake any additional tasks assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn and adapt. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and computer skills. Proven experience in data entry or a related field, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Strong typing skills, with a minimum of 40 words per minute, and exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and data entry software, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in eye care or healthcare data entry, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and data management principles. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, computer science, or health information management. Certification in data entry or a related field, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES) or Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA). Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems, with a strong understanding of data analytics and reporting principles.
