About the Role We are seeking an experienced and skilled Remote Customer Service Representative to join our elite team. As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, providing guidance and support to individuals navigating the complexities of health insurance. Your expertise and passion for customer service will be instrumental in helping us achieve our mission of making health insurance simple and accessible to all. Key Responsibilities As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: Handling inbound and outbound calls, delivering the highest level of customer service experience consistently Managing customer accounts, providing technical support, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Entering application data, responding to online chat inquiries, and interpreting and following defined procedures and policies Demonstrating creative problem-solving skills, flexibility, and adaptability to changing projects and updates Effectively managing time and tasks, prioritizing multiple tasks, and maintaining a high level of productivity Completing extensive self-study, training, and testing, and adhering to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: To be at least 18 years of age or older A minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s, a dedicated, private, and secure workspace, and a personal laptop or desktop computer required for the training period To commit to full attendance during the 3-week training period and complete a background check and health screening Cable/Fiber Broadband Internet with a hard-wired ethernet connection (note: mobile internet service providers and satellite are not compatible with our internal systems) Moderate to advanced computer skills, a high level of comfort learning new technology, and a high level of professionalism Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfort working from home, and self-motivation and success-driven attitude Preferred Experience While not required, the following experience is preferred: Previous experience in customer support or technical support role Previous experience with Group and/or Individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act Previous experience in a Call Center Familiarity with CRM systems and practices Spanish Bilingual, a plus What We Offer At blithequark, we offer a comprehensive range of benefits, including: Paid training and full-time, seasonal temp-to-permanent roles Performance and attendance-based incentives, in addition to the base pay The convenience of working from home and a collaborative and supportive team environment 401K Match and Individual Coverage HRA (ICHRA) Paid time off (PTO) and opportunities for career growth and professional development Compensation Details We offer a competitive hourly rate, with the following compensation details: Base Pay: $14.50 per hour Enhanced Rate: $16.00 per hour contingent on weekly attendance and performance Spanish Bilingual Base Pay: $15.50 per hour Spanish Bilingual Enhanced Rate: $17.00 per hour contingent on weekly attendance and performance Career Growth Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to helping our team members grow and develop in their careers.
