Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Customer Advocate Phone Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, resolving inquiries, and providing support to our members via inbound phone calls. Key Responsibilities Identify, research, process, resolve, and respond to customer inquiries and correspondence via telephone, written communication, and/or in person Explain various information concerning our services, including contract benefits, changes in coverage, eligibility, claims, and provider networks Answer a diverse and high volume of health insurance-related customer calls and correspondence daily, with a target of 40+ calls per day Meet quality, quantity, and timeliness standards to achieve individual and department performance goals as defined within the department guidelines Document and record facts regarding inquiries and correspondence by updating arenaflex files and systems Demonstrate and maintain current working knowledge of the required arenaflex systems, procedures, forms, and manuals Perform all other duties as assigned Essential Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of external Customer Service Experience Intermediate skill in the use of office equipment, including copiers, fax machines, scanners, and telephones Detailed-oriented, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and software programs Preferred Qualifications Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (with an additional $1 per hour Bilingual Premium) Previous experience in the health insurance industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities What We Offer At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with a comprehensive benefits package, opportunities for growth and development, and a positive work environment.
