Job Overview In this 100% remote role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our consumers via phone and email. On your first day, you will need to visit our location in Lake Forest, CA to pick up your equipment and receive a comprehensive overview of our systems and setup process from our IT team. After that, you will work from the comfort of your own home, utilizing your excellent customer service skills to resolve consumer inquiries, provide product information, and troubleshoot technical issues. Key Responsibilities Receive and respond to a high volume of consumer calls and emails regarding product issues, installation instructions, and general product information Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to consumers, directing them to the proper resources when necessary Handle consumer interactions with tact, diplomacy, and a strong customer service orientation, adhering to blithequark's guidelines and standards Accurately complete information on computer screens with pertinent data while working with consumers over the phone Utilize basic knowledge of computer software for data input and retrieval to efficiently manage consumer interactions Respond to consumer repair requests and evaluate product problems to determine the best course of action, whether it be repair or replacement Assist consumers with product-related inquiries, such as installation techniques, product features, and models, as requested by the consumer service supervisor Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess: At least one year of experience in a product-based customer support function and/or call center environment (preferred but not required) Previous experience in the hardware and home improvement industry (preferred) A technical mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and products Typing speed of 35+ words per minute High school diploma or equivalent Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with bilingual proficiency in Spanish or French being a plus Preferred Skills and Competencies In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates who possess: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to effectively troubleshoot technical issues Excellent customer service skills, with a strong focus on providing exceptional consumer experiences Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling a high volume of calls and emails while maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete information on computer screens Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
