Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Marketing team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing data to identify areas for improving marketing effectiveness and cost efficiencies. You will serve as a key data resource for insights and visualizations related to organizational marketing and fundraising initiatives. Key Responsibilities Scope and conduct analyses to identify areas for improving marketing effectiveness and cost efficiencies through financial modeling and analysis Serve as a key data resource for insights and visualizations related to organizational marketing and fundraising initiatives, including channel-specific, multi-channel attribution, and cross-line-of-business efforts Assist with data integration efforts related to the modernization and automation of run-and-maintain reporting, with the goal of increasing self-service utilization, decreasing data latency/time to market, maximizing data-driven insights, and complying with IT change management practices Write and execute moderately complex queries against standard platforms, and cleanse and prepare data for larger analysis Oversee regular distribution of data as required through multiple formats and present data in visualization form for easy stakeholder understanding Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience and certification required Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required Advanced skills in Excel required Ability to work on a team and knowledge of relational data warehouse environments and a high degree of proficiency in SQL, including both ANSI standard (Teradata) and PostgreSQL (Amazon Redshift) High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and CRM systems Experience with data integration and ETL processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At the American Red Cross, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
