Key Responsibilities As a remote data entry specialist at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include: Gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into our system database Reviewing data for discrepancies, missing pages, or information, and resolving discrepancies using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution Entering both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database with high accuracy Reviewing data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications Following data program security practices and procedures at all times to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of our data Routinely securing information by completing database backups daily Performing other varied clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required Maintaining confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPAA regulations Performing other duties as assigned by the team leader or management Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required A minimum of 6 months related experience in data entry or a similar field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience Experience in a medical office is preferred but not required Must be tech-savvy and detail-oriented, with excellent typing skills and accuracy Must possess complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone operations Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet Must be a qualified typist with a minimum of 40 words per minute (W.P.M.)
