About the Role As a Remote Health Care Customer Service Representative, you will be part of our Customer Experience team, handling telehealth-based phone calls and email inquiries from patients, families, and healthcare providers. Your excellent customer service and communication skills will help us create positive experiences for our customers and clients. You will manage a steady volume of incoming calls while navigating multiple systems, providing solutions to complex problems, and delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities: Handle telehealth-based phone calls and email inquiries from patients, families, and healthcare providers Provide solutions to complex problems, including insurance verifications, benefits education, billing questions, prescription issues, and technical challenges Manage a steady volume of incoming calls while navigating multiple systems Deliver exceptional patient care and create positive experiences for our customers and clients Work collaboratively with our team to achieve exceptional outcomes and exceed customer expectations What We Look For We are looking for people with a passion for helping others, who are naturally empathetic and have the determination to deliver comprehensive solutions to healthcare-related calls. Customer service experience is a plus, but not required. To be successful in this role, you will have: Essential Qualifications: Ability to successfully complete a 3-week virtual training class High-speed internet and a distraction-free work environment Ability to type 40 words per minute with 96% accuracy Great problem-solving skills and ability to effectively multi-task High school diploma, GED, or college degree Excellent communication skills and availability to work weekends Equipment provided and must be hardwired; no Wi-Fi Preferred Qualifications: Customer service experience in a healthcare setting Knowledge of healthcare terminology and medical billing procedures Experience with telehealth-based support and navigation of multiple systems Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively multi-task and navigate multiple systems. You will also need to be empathetic and understanding, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and creating positive experiences for our customers and clients.
