About the Role As a Remote Health Care Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in our Customer Experience team, handling telehealth-based phone calls and email inquiries from patients, families, and healthcare providers. Your excellent communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities will enable you to deliver personalized support and resolve complex issues in a timely and professional manner. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, and your goal will be to provide exceptional service, ensuring that every interaction is positive, informative, and supportive. Key Responsibilities: Handle a high volume of incoming calls and emails from customers, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues related to insurance verifications, benefits education, billing questions, prescription issues, and technical challenges. Provide empathetic and personalized support to patients, families, and healthcare providers, addressing their concerns and providing solutions in a timely and professional manner. Navigate multiple systems and applications to access customer information, resolve issues, and provide accurate and up-to-date information. Collaborate with internal teams, including healthcare providers, to ensure seamless communication and effective issue resolution. Meet productivity and quality standards, ensuring that all interactions are handled efficiently and effectively. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or college degree. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Availability to work weekends and flexible hours, including evenings and holidays. High-speed internet connection and a distraction-free work environment. Ability to type 40 words per minute with 96% accuracy. Equipment provided by arenaflex must be hardwired; no Wi-Fi is allowed. Preferred Qualifications: Customer service experience in a healthcare or related field. Knowledge of healthcare terminology, insurance, and billing procedures. Experience working in a call center or contact center environment. Strong technical skills, with the ability to navigate multiple systems and applications.
