Job Summary: Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative We are seeking caring and talented individuals to join our team as Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representatives. In this critical role, you will serve as an extended business office representative on behalf of our clients, working closely with patients and their families to explain medical bills, address questions and concerns, and resolve account balances. Key Responsibilities: Utilize empathy, active listening, and outstanding verbal and written communication skills to help patients and their families understand complex medical bills and resolve any issues or concerns. Leverage computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail to accurately document all calls and follow-ups in our software systems throughout each day. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Prior experience in healthcare billing, customer service, or a related field. Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare billing practices. Experience with software systems and technology, including electronic health records and billing systems.
