As a Senior Corporate Counsel - Healthcare, you will play a critical role in supporting Chewy's pharmacy operations and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This is a high-visibility role that requires a talented and experienced attorney who can provide strategic guidance and leadership. Key Responsibilities Research and advise on legal and compliance risks related to online multijurisdictional pharmacy operations Collaborate with the business to develop effective risk mitigation strategies Draft and negotiate contracts with pharmacy and healthcare product suppliers Support the healthcare compliance team with compliance initiatives and interpreting relevant laws and regulations Review and manage general investigation work product on state and federal legislation, including 50-state surveys Review pharmacy and healthcare-related marketing, promotional, and advertising materials Review and assist in the resolution of customer complaints Lead a team to support regulatory and compliance issues related to healthcare matters Collaborate with various areas of the Legal Division and provide timely and meaningful guidance to all areas and levels within Chewy Healthcare Work with and manage external legal counsel Monitor legislation identified as potentially impacting operations and develop advice on that potential business impact Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school 3+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a corporate or healthcare setting Admission to the Florida Bar or the ability to obtain an in-house license 3+ years of in-house experience, with a proven track record of managing others Experience with online or mail-order pharmacy operations is highly desirable Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and concise language Strong analytical skills, combined with a practical, business-savvy, and strategic approach The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment A proven track record of driving business growth and innovation Familiarity with the pet care or healthcare industries What We Offer As a Senior Corporate Counsel - Healthcare at Chewy, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and challenging projects, collaborate with a talented team, and drive business growth.
