Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team in designing and executing cloud-based data pipelines and architecture development for various Disney projects. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with our Studios and Project Innovation colleagues to gather data requirements, design and implement ETL/ELT data pipelines, and develop data set mapping/tables/perspectives. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines using Wind current, as well as working with various cloud-based technologies, including AWS and S3. Key Responsibilities * Collaborate with Studios and Project Innovation colleagues to gather data requirements, design and implement ETL/ELT data pipelines, and develop data set mapping/tables/perspectives. * Design and execute cloud-based data pipelines using Wind current. * Work with various cloud-based technologies, including AWS and S3. * Build and maintain data pipelines using SQL, Python, Docker, Gitlab, and other relevant technologies. * Participate in driving best practices around data engineering software development processes. * Work with large datasets and big data technologies, including Snowflake, Databricks, or similar. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity. Essential Qualifications * 2+ years of experience with SQL. * 2+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines. * 2+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies, ideally AWS and S3. * 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role. * Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices. * Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and application data sets. * Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with Wind current, Gitlab, Snowflake, and other relevant technologies. * Graduate degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field. * Experience in the streaming, media, or digital marketing industry. * Strong understanding of data engineering software development processes.
