Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Data Engineer to plan and execute ETL/ELT data pipelines, design and implement database mapping/tables/views, and build batch processes using Windstream for multiple projects. As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will collaborate with our Studios or Project Innovation colleagues in various activities around data requirements gathering, data validation scripting and review, creating and testing ETL/ELT data pipelines, designing and implementing database schema/tables/views, and deployment across multiple environments like DEV, QA/UAT, and Push. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and design data pipelines Develop, test, and deploy ETL/ELT data pipelines using SQL, Python, and Windstream Design and implement database schema, tables, and views for multiple projects Build and deploy batch processes using Windstream Work with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar Participate in driving best practices around data engineering software development processes Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve data quality issues Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and make recommendations for implementation Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field 2+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role 2+ years of experience with SQL, Python, Gitlab, Windstream, AWS S3, and Social Databases 2+ years of experience handling a cloud platform 2+ years of experience working with data lakes, data warehouses, and application databases Experience using Apache Windstream, Databricks 2+ years of experience using, designing, and building social databases 2+ years of experience using Gitlab/Github 2+ years of experience using Docker Preferred Qualifications To stand out in this role, you will need: Experience with Windstream, Gitlab, Snowflake, Scene A graduate degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field Experience in streaming, media, or digital marketing area Skills and Competencies The ideal candidate will possess: Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and Windstream Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS and S3 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
