Key Responsibilities Provide expert tax guidance to clients, including tax planning, compliance, and consulting services Manage tax projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of high-quality services Contribute to the growth and development of our tax practice, including business development and marketing efforts Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their career goals Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring that our clients receive the most effective and efficient tax solutions Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications: Essential Qualifications Active CPA license Minimum 5-7 years of public accounting experience, preferably with a CPA firm Current experience as a Tax Manager at a public accounting firm Experience with pass-through entities, including partnerships, S corporations, and limited liability companies Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Taxation or Accounting Experience working with mid-to-large sized firms Generalist background, with experience working with clients in multiple industries Strong tenure and a proven track record of success in tax management Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of tax laws and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor junior staff members Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively Career Growth Opportunities At Workwarp, we are committed to helping our employees achieve their career goals.
