About the Role As a Senior Technical Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Development Marketing team, with a focus on identity, security, and measurement. You will be responsible for creating and driving our protection and identity marketing guide, collaborating with MarTech, Data Engineering, and Legal to ensure our marketing stack is strategically set up for future success. Your expertise in quantitative analysis, marketing business issues, and advanced modeling techniques will enable you to drive high-impact changes to the customer experience and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement our protection and identity marketing guide in collaboration with MarTech, Data Engineering, and Legal Collaborate with marketing channel leads to ensure their work benefits from and supports broader identity and protection efforts Design, execute, and analyze lift tests and A/B tests to drive high-impact changes to the customer experience Stay up-to-date with industry protection standards and trends, and lead landscape assessments to evaluate advertising technologies and vendor arrangements Tackle complex business problems by providing recommendations and deploying tools that leverage deep-dive analysis, advanced analytics, models, and visualizations Mentor and coach junior colleagues to help them develop their skills and expertise Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical, business, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, or other quantitative discipline; Master's degree preferred 2+ years of work experience in a relevant field, such as analysis or data science Proficiency in statistical programming languages like Python, R, SAS, or SPSS, as well as SQL (including aggregate functions, joins, etc.) Experience with large, complex data and big data technologies (Google Big Query) and using modeling algorithms to derive business insights Experience with experimental test design, such as A/B testing Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Google Data Studio, Tableau, PowerBI); experience with Looker is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Experience with the marketing security and identity landscape; e-commerce/retail analysis is a plus What We Offer At Wayfair, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth, learning, and development.
