About the Role We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service and Repair Support Specialist to join our remote team. As a key member of our Service and Repair team, you'll be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, resolving customer complaints, and ensuring timely and accurate work order processing. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and exceptional communication skills. Key Responsibilities Manage daily tasks within the Medical Device Service and Repair database, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Document and follow up on customer repairs regarding billing, shipping delays, and product issues. Distribute customer inquiries regarding orders, changes, cancellations, delivery dates, application of products, and pricing. Generate routine correspondence to secure additional customer information or resolve customer/service center disputes. Coordinate meetings between staff and sales, engineering, and shipping personnel to handle customer repairs. Distribute customer surveys, compile results, and summarize customer feedback data to drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with Service & Repair Support technicians to locate missing shipments and resolve issues. Work with the Buyer Planner to correct errors, such as shipment of wrong items or shortages. Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level. Ensure personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures. Complete ad-hoc duties as needed to support the team. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A High School diploma or equivalent. Strong problem analysis and resolution skills. Technical and project leadership skills. Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and assertiveness in past roles. The ability to use influence and motivational techniques to lead process improvements with multi-functional teams. Effective communication skills to interact with different organizational levels. Conflict management skills. Strong coaching, mentoring, and people development skills. The ability to work independently with occasional guidance. The ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ability to make effective management-level presentations and write formal reports dealing with departmental metrics. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: A Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or business. Experience working in a regulated environment. 5+ years of experience performing cross-functional or multiple discipline assignments. 2+ years of experience providing service for medical devices. Experience in warehousing, distribution, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics. Experience within a Customer Service function. Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) / ISO (International Organization for Standardization). Knowledge of EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) regulations. Systems applications knowledge. A track record of providing service for medical devices.
