Job Overview We are looking for an exceptional individual with a strong background in machining and industrial sales to fill this remote position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the field, although we are open to training the right individual with a "can-do" attitude. Key Responsibilities Drive sales growth and expand our customer base in the Central and East Iowa area Provide technical support and expertise to customers, helping them optimize their machine shop processes with our cutting tool products Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new sales opportunities and providing exceptional customer service Collaborate with our internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to stay up-to-date on new products and technologies Conduct product demonstrations, seminars, and training sessions to educate customers on the benefits and applications of our cutting tool products Stay current with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments, providing feedback and insights to our internal teams Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in machining and industrial sales, or a related field A strong understanding of CNC programming and machining principles Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills A college degree in engineering, industrial technology, or a related field (preferred) A "can-do" attitude, with a strong desire to learn and grow with our company Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be highly regarded: Experience working with cutting tool products and metalworking technologies A strong network of contacts in the machining and industrial sales industry Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools A proven track record of sales success and customer growth Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Strong technical skills, with the ability to understand and communicate complex product information Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external customers A strong results-driven mindset, with a focus on achieving sales targets and growing our customer base Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At ISCAR METALS, INC., we are committed to providing our employees with the training, support, and resources they need to succeed.
