About the Role As a Virtual Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in our Customer Experience team, helping people every day by taking calls, actively listening to understand customers' needs, and answering their questions. You'll be the face of our organization, providing top-notch service to customers and creating positive experiences that leave a lasting impression. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls throughout your scheduled shift, assisting customers with healthcare claims and enrollment Develop a good rapport with callers, using a warm and friendly approach to build trust and resolve issues De-escalate and manage difficult calls, remaining professional and level-headed in challenging situations Provide consistent, high-quality customer support, striving for excellence in every interaction Utilize excellent listening skills, research, and attention to detail to resolve customer inquiries Navigate multiple applications (up to 12) on a single call, quickly transitioning from one task to another Demonstrate strong navigation skills, with the ability to work with dual monitors and keyboard shortcuts Communicate effectively with customers, using clear and concise language to resolve issues Requirements & Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need to meet the following essential qualifications: 1+ year of call center experience, preferably in a healthcare or customer service environment Minimum 25 WPM typing speed, with excellent keyboard shortcut knowledge High school diploma or GED Reside in the US, with a reliable internet connection (hardwired, not wireless) Successfully complete our mandatory paid 4-week training program with 100% attendance Preferred qualifications include: Experience working with healthcare claims and enrollment processes Strong technical skills, including proficiency with dual monitors and software applications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers What You'll Need to Succeed To perform this role effectively, you'll need to have the following equipment and workspace: Two (2) 22" monitors, with a video adaptor A dedicated, distraction-free workspace that meets HIPAA requirements A reliable internet connection (hardwired, not wireless) with a minimum speed of 25MBPS download and 5MBPS upload Training & Development Our comprehensive training program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in this role. You'll participate in a paid 4-week training program, Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm EST, where you'll learn about our processes, systems, and procedures.
