About the Role As a Weekend Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your primary responsibility will be to provide excellent support to our clients during weekend hours. This will involve handling a variety of inquiries, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing timely and effective solutions to their problems Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty Provide accurate and helpful information to customers about blithequark's products or services, responding to their questions and concerns Process customer transactions, such as orders, returns, or exchanges, in accordance with blithequark's policies and procedures Collaborate with other teams, such as sales or technical support, to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience Stay up-to-date with blithequark's products, services, and policies, attending training sessions and workshops as required Meet and exceed customer service targets, such as response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field, such as customer service, communications, or business, an asset Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a similar industry or environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software Availability to work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in the Eastern Standard Time zone, with flexibility to work occasional overtime or holidays as required Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous experience working in a call center or customer service environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices Knowledge of blithequark's products or services, or similar products or services in the industry Second language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers who speak languages other than English Experience with customer service software, such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, or Salesforce Certification in customer service, such as the Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) designation Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Communication skills : ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management, both verbally and in writing Problem-solving skills : ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement effective resolutions Customer focus : ability to understand and meet customer needs, exceeding their expectations and ensuring loyalty Teamwork and collaboration : ability to work effectively with others, building strong relationships and achieving common goals Adaptability and flexibility : ability to adapt to changing situations, priorities, and deadlines, with a flexible and positive attitude Time management and organization : ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize activities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Career Growth and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we're committed to the growth and development of our employees.
