The Position At OPSWAT , we’re on a mission to protect the world’s most critical infrastructure. As a U.S.-based cybersecurity leader, we specialize in developing solutions for threat prevention and process creation for secure data transfer and safe device access. With our rapidly growing R&D presence in Hungary, we are expanding the team behind our MetaDefender Sandbox and Threat Intelligence Service. The MetaDefender Sandbox and Threat Intelligence Service are components of an advanced malware analysis solution that detects and analyzes zero-day and evasive threats using a combination of dynamic analysis, AI, and machine learning. It helps customers across the globe, including governments, financial institutions, and critical infrastructure operators, identify malicious behavior that traditional antivirus engines often miss. We are looking for a driven and passionate FullStack Software Engineer to join our international team. You’ll collaborate with colleagues from Hungary, USA, Vietnam, Spain, and Georgia, and contribute to building scalable, cloud-enabled, and on-premise threat detection solutions that make a real difference in the cybersecurity landscape. What You Will be Doing Design and develop cyber security applications working closely with our Team Lead and Product Owner Architect and implement new features for our platform Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive unit tests Conduct and participate in code reviews Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones Contribute to technical documentation and system architecture Participate in agile ceremonies and planning What We Need from You 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Strong experience with RESTful API design and implementation and JSON data structures Proven experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality tools (SonarQube) BSc or MSc in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Sciences, or Mathematics Professional working proficiency in English (both written and verbal) Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), MongoDB, and NGINX is a plus Background in cybersecurity software development is welcome Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and tools like Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, TeamCity Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Why You'll Love Working Here Work with cutting-edge technologies in cybersecurity Stable, growing international company with prestigious customers Opportunity to become familiar with the cybersecurity space and malware analysis software Extra benefits - supported sport activities (kettlebell training and football), massage, language courses, equipped kitchen etc. Attractive working environment - nice office full of accessories (fruits evers day, coffee, breakfast, tea etc.) International team with regular team events and Happy Hour activities OPSWAT is an equal opportunity employer.
