Insurance Business Line Risk Testing Analyst II

The BL Risk Testing Analyst II plays a key role in supporting the development and execution of business process testing and monitoring activities for the Insurance business line. Responsibilities Independently execute assigned testing activities, including test of controls and validation/transactional testing Support program planning and execution Develop, execute and document testing in accordance with policies and procedures Utilize sound analytical and technical skills to provide consultation regarding emerging control practices Analyze business process and internal control documentation and develop written summary of findings to review with Management Identify root causes and provide meaningful recommendations Perform ad hoc projects as assigned to assist in analyzing Ally's risk and control environment Work within defined plans and schedules Maintain open line of communication with management of assigned areas Skills 1+ years of experience required High School Diploma or GED required Strong project management skills Detail-oriented, deadline driven, self-directed and organized individual Strong written and verbal communications skills Strong understanding of risk and control concepts Ability to understand a range of processes within the Insurance business line Well-developed analytical and critical thinking skills Experience in data analytics and analysis Proven ability to excel in highly interactive team environment Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Ability to travel (~5%) 2+ years of work experience with a preference in testing, auditing or risk management Bachelors (or higher) degree Familiarity with Ally Insurance products or experience with F&I and/or P&C business Benefits Time Away: Program starts at 20 paid time off days in addition to 11 paid holidays and 8 hours of volunteer time off yearly (time off days are prorated based on start date and program varies based on full or part-time status and management level).
