The Junior Network Administrator will assist in ensuring high performance, availability, and reliability of the network. Responsibilities • Support the stability and performance of computer networks and systems. • Setting up and configuring network devices such as routers, switches, and cabling with support from the Networking Team. • Troubleshooting connectivity issues and providing support to end-users for network-related problems. • Maintaining network security policies and technologies including firewalls and antivirus software. • Scheduling and monitoring network data back-ups and performing occasional data restoration tests. • Creating and maintaining network diagrams and documentation. Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must have: • Up to 3 years of experience supporting increasingly complex networking infrastructure in a cleared government environment. • Demonstrated experience with network hardware, operation systems, and related software. • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to identify and solve network challenges. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with the IT team and end-users. • A proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and protocols using documentation and online resources. • A TS/SCI clearance. • An associate degree in computer science/related field or equivalent work experience. Posted Min Pay Rate USD $68,075.21/Yr. Posted Max Pay Rate USD $113,458.69/Yr. Salary Disclosure Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance.
